Chestnut Hill Academy
Chestnut Hill Academy is a private boys' college preparatory school.
We have approximately 500 boys attending in kindergarten through the twelfth grade. Children come from all over the city of Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs to attend the school. We strive to have a diverse student body. The younger boys in the division known as the Lower School wear a uniform jersey of dark blue with light blue stripes on the sleeves. Light blue
and dark blue are the school colors. Bigger boys in the Middle and Upper
Schools wear coats and ties.
The school is located in the Chestnut Hill section of the the city of
Philadelphia. This is a neighborhood of large homes and big gardens. There
are many beautiful trees. We are near a park that runs along a creek. All
the vegetation makes it hard to believe that we are in a city. In fact
Philadelphia is one of the biggest cities in the United States. We have
many deer and raccoons right here!
