the People who protect the animals of Amazônia,
and the Animals of Amazônia

by Guillermo, Lucila, Maria, Fernando, Renê, Gustavo, Ulderica, Mabel, Ian, Clara, Tatiana, Victor, Tomas, Diogo, and Durga of Escola das Nações in Brazilia.

The story was written as part of their work in their English language class.


A kinkajou hunts at night.
It hunts for figs and other fruits.
A kinkajou is different from a coati and a raccoon.
The kinkajou has a grasping tail to move on trees.
