Volume 8 Number 1: BioScapes

Put the following places on a map of your state:

• Where you live
• Where you go to school
• Where you play
• Where you go for hikes
• Where your parents' taxes are at work
• Where you go to take an airplane
• Where your parents work

You and your neighbors are connected to all these places. Plants and animals are connected to all these places, too. All the places you plotted on the map as well as the spaces in between make up what we call a "Bioscape".
